The Democrats are all in an uproar about the attempts to have Obamacare declared unconstitutional now that the tax part of it was eliminated. They’ve been all over the media and are doing just about everything except pulling out the old granny-in-the-wheelchair commercial, where the old lady is pushed over the cliff by the Republicans because, as the Democrats would have you believe, the Republicans want to kill people.
You see crying Chuck, and outrageous Nancy, you know, she was the one who pushed through the original Obamacare late that night, way back when, and also the one who made the most outrageous and ridiculous statement ever, one that’s been quoted here many times, “you have to sign it to see what’s in it,” huffing and puffing and blowing smoke.
If you remember also, way back then, our illustrious leaders, all those members of Congress, both houses, both parties, managed to pass themselves the exemption to Obamacare and allow themselves to stay on their Cadillac-of-Cadillacs health plan.
It’s a good world if you’re one of them.
While the Democrats preach to us about equality and the unfairness of our economic system, they live in gated cities, protected by bodyguards with weapons. They have every luxury and benefit that capitalism can provide. They tell us we must sacrifice to make sure that everyone is equal, yet they bask in their luxurious lifestyles with their families and themselves in a separate class, a class equal to if not better than those billionaires they so readily criticize.
Poor Taylor Swift. Not too long ago the record company she had signed with when she was younger was sold and bought by someone she does not particularly like. While there’s controversy about the details, she was offered opportunity to buy the rights to her music, or at least some of it, and declined the opportunity. Then she went about criticizing the sale for various reasons, some of which is muddle because there are different accountings of what really went on.
Maybe the poor twenty-nine-year-old star should have devised a plan to distribute the rights to her music equally among all the people. That’s what she professes, her support of the Democratic-socialist policies and her extreme hatred for that horrible capitalist President Trump.
Her fight for her wealth, so much of it, $300 million worth at age 29, belies her sincerity in advocating for socialism.
And there are so many like her. They’ve swallowed the blue pill and they want us to do that too.
The Democrats really want you to believe that their offers of free stuff are really free. They want you to believe that they really believe in equality for everyone. They want you to believe that deep in their hearts these are major concerns to them, that they will fight to the end for this to happen.
Hogwash!
If anyone is truly interested in the real effects of how socialism works in the real world, listen to people who have survived communist takeovers in their countries. Listen to people who live in real socialist countries who can’t find food or medical care, who can’t get a decent education for their children or understand why the promise of equality and free stuff for everyone sounds so good yet works out so bad.
And they, those Despicable Dems, really want us to believe their lies.
Their overall policies are about as believable as the now infamous “we only have twelve years to survive” statement made by AOC, another one who jets around like a queen and lives far from the realities of the world she preaches to us about.
