I saw an ad this morning for an on-line degree. It said no tests, no homework, life experience credited.
It meant, pretty much minimal effort, minimal work. And that means, most surely, minimal learning.
From way back when they’ve dumbed-down schooling, from public school though college and even through some grad schools.
Pay the money, get the letters next to your name.
Voila.
They are betting that in today’s world if you do it their way, you will vote for Joe Biden and people like him.
They are betting that when you see buildings burning and police precincts and vehicles overturned and destroyed, you will believe them when they tell you it is not violence.
They are betting that when you see what happened January 6th you will believe them that it was an armed insurrection when only one weapon, a sidearm, was found and when one unarmed female veteran was shot by them in cold blood.
They are betting you will believe them when they tell you that America’s greatest threat is right-wing domestic terrorism.
They are betting you are stupid enough to believe what they tell you over what your eyes see.
And so it goes.

Only about half of the country pays any taxes at all.
I was told once and really like the idea: always make the least negative assumption.
With that in mind, a good portion of the half of the country that don’t pay any taxes are really poor and working hard to take care of themselves and their families.
But a portion of those who don’t pay taxes at all are gaming the system. Let’s face it! We all know at least one of those people, the one collecting welfare, housing and food stamps yet is driving a Mercedes.
Look at past eleven months. What’s the work incentive anymore when you can do better getting paid off?
That half of the country that pays taxes and sees what is going on…how much longer does anyone think they will continue to tolerate what is happening?

I was wondering…
Sometimes I don’t recognize America these days.
A 21-year veteran cop anonymously gave 25 dollars to the Rittenhouse defense fund and was summarily dismissed from the force without pension when it was found out that he did so.
Last summer the leftists willfully destroyed parts of some cities, vandalized businesses, burned buildings and cars and assaulted innocent people because they held a different political leaning toward the right. They did this without prosecution and the current vice president contributed to their defense and bail funds.
Why isn’t she fired?
Of course I could go on and on and on with example after example. It’s easy to find such examples in the America I don’t recognize these days.
I was also wondering…
I wouldn’t want to be an illegal alien and I feel for those of them who are non-criminal regular people looking for a better life. I come from immigrants who came here legally, so I care for their plight. But…
I’ve been working for 60 years, paying taxes and doing things “right” to take care of myself and my family and to accumulate wealth to leave my children an inheritance, unlike what my father, a legal working-class immigrant who spent 3½ years in a NAZI POW camp in WWII was able to leave me after working all his life.
When will someone give me food, housing, clothing, full medical and dental care and a stipend just for my being present here in America?
That way I might just be able to pass on to my kids all of what I worked so hard for. I also might be able to pursue my dream, even at my age as a septuagenarian.

So this is really more about the great Democrat/leftist/socialist lie.
Gas at about a dollar a gallon more: Biden admin told us it was cheaper than a year ago. Heating oil is up 80 cents a gallon now in the summertime. Imagine this winter: eat or heat!
Wage increases: Biden admin told us we were better off. Increases are about 4%. Inflation is more than 5%. When did four become greater than five?
China, Russia and Iran are now poised to strike against a severely weakened and compromised Untied States. The Taliban has billions of dollars of the latest American weaponry including state of the art planes and helicopters that will surely find their way to China to steal the technology.
Have no fear though. The American military leaders are busy imposing critical race theory on our military. It’s more important than getting us safely out of Iran.
The Biden admin and Joe Boy himself are mostly on vacation. They can’t even tell us how many Americans are in Afghanistan.
Math is now relative, not absolute, and it is racist to ask students to show their work. I guess that’s how four is greater than five and 3.15 a gallon is less than 2.15.
The Biden and his admin say the border is closed. 210,000 plus people came in last month and they tell us it’s less than a year ago. More relative math.
When the golden goose runs out, America no more. If Joe boy keeps this up, American no more. As Margaret Thatcher said, socialism is great until you run out of other people’s money.
Oh! Remember that laptop of Hunter’s that they wouldn’t allow to be reported on social media and the main stream propagandists totally ignored? Today the FBI (more of the greatest liars posing as our law and order people) admitted there is a second laptop out there.
Keep it up Joe Boy, Dems, Hollywood and the American Propagandists, our own Pravda, and we will have America no more.

When Hunter’s credit card failed and he couldn’t pay the bill for his 50,000 dollar whore (yes, that’s close to the real cost and what the money was for), Daddy, Joe boy, our whatever-he-is now, at notification and request from the secret service, paid the bill with his charge card.
Nancy Pelosi eats 25 dollar a pint (that’s 100 dollar a quart) ice cream from her 24,000 dollar freezer.
Eric Swalwell has a net worth of 100,000 to 1,000,000 (from being a politician). But he spent 26,000 dollars mostly at the hotel where his wife works. They’re saying it is campaign funds he used for personal purposes. (I wonder if he bedded his Chinese spy girlfriend there and his campaign paid for that too.) He did enjoy limousines, suites and fancy meals.
Gas is up about a dollar a gallon. Many of us real people can’t afford to fill up the tank to go to work, that is if we have to work since the government isn’t giving us handouts like to gives to some.
Food is up.
Oil for heating is up.
Clothes are up and diapers too.
Everything is up in price in what is being called another runaway inflation.
Businesses of course pass on their increased costs.
Biden, who has never worked in the real world and whose family is the most corrupt political crime family ever, lauds the fact that wages are up 6%. But prices are up more than 10%.
Do the math and don’t do the relative math they want you to do.
You think these politicians care about inflation? More than 60% of all of them are multi-millionaires.
And by the way, facebook took me off for saying things like this. Just so you know.

China is building its military and its economy. It doesn’t care about controlling carbon emissions. It is threatening Japan, Hong Kong and expanding in the South China Sea. It is intent upon controlling the world. And that doesn’t even mention Covid.
In one simple tirade and with the stroke of a pen Biden has made Europe energy-dependent upon Russia for the next two decades at least. He’s also empowered and enriched Iran (again), the world leader in terrorism.
Then he stands there in Europe and tells our military and the world America’s greatest threat is climate change.

From energy independence under Trump we now are back to where we were, buying gas from Russia where the hackers who crippled the eastern seaboard fuel-wise reside.
Russia supports Iran who sends the rockets to Hamas who is bombing Israel, our ally.
Or we are supporting our enemies in attacking our allies.
Fuel shortage, runaway inflation highest gas prices since Obama and more and more illegals every day that our tax dollars are supporting when our own kids aren’t in school and those on regular health insurance, unlike our leaders, have to wait months and months for mental health services and to see a specialist.
The Big Democrat Lie pretty much speaks for itself. They move their lips, they lie. We would all know it if not for the biased media. And if you believe the mainstream media, you better start learning Chinese and to behave the way they want you to.

So you know I usually kid about the sun when I post my link to this blog on Facebook. Generally I say: While you can look to the sun/Fun with words and words for fun.
Sometimes I say: Before they tax it, look to the sun/Fun with words and words for fun. Or: While they let you look to the sun/Fun with words…
And sometimes I say: Look to the sun while you can, you don’t know how long they’ll let you.
It was all in good fun. It had its point, but it was mostly in jest.
But
Ever heard of sun dimming technology? Well it is part of solar engineering and it is being lauded by none other than that technology guru, maker of crappy software, Bill Gates. Mr. Microsoft himself.
The proposal is to launch a cloud around the sun to partially block it from coming to the earth. Its purpose is to ease global warming and reduce our impact on the planet.
It is real. It is being discussed and proposed and considered.
Here goes the sun.

Why would a new and incoming administration cause people to lose jobs?
Why would it drive up the price of energy and home heating oil and support immigration/border policies that are not only inhumane but drive wages in its own country down?
Why would this administration take its country from energy surplus and independence to being once again dependent upon its enemies for needed energy?
Why would this administration support, defend and uplift its country’s enemies and belittle and diminish its allies?
Just some questions for us all who are still wondering why the media and the network news don’t report such things.

So which shoes do you wear? Are you one of those people who see things on social media and don’t bother to check them out? Do you then take them and repost them on your social media outlets? Are you one of those people who actually believe any of the ridiculous things that come from either the left or the right?
Or are you one of those people who checks out everything? Are you one of those people who understands that facts are facts and facts are incontrovertible? There may be different facts formulated by different outlets, so when that’s the case are you one of those people who checks out all the sets of facts and attempts at least to determine which ones are real and which ones are fabricated?
Are you one of those people who believe in suppression? Or are you one of those people who believe in free expression and the exercise of free rights? Are you one of those people who sees beyond the hypocrisy of both the left and the right? Or are you one of those people who subscribe to one side’s hypocrisy?
Well, some of these are pretty hard questions. They’re pretty hard because we all wear different shoes. They’re hard because we all feel different ways about ourselves and each of us have different reasoning capacities and different senses of self-gratification.
Do you really think that putting President Trump’s Supreme Court pick onto the court will really kill millions of women? Do you really believe that the second he’s put on the Supreme Court Roe v Wade will be immediately overturned? Or are you capable of seeing that these are hyperbole and not even responsible hyperbole? In one fell swoop the lefties have gone from pushing grandma over the cliff in a wheelchair, what they’ve accused the Republicans of in the past, to having their Supreme Court nominee kill millions of women. No matter which shoes you wear, it just doesn’t make sense. Furthermore, it’s irresponsible to advance such divisive rhetoric.
It goes on and on and it gets worse and worse. No matter who is put on the Supreme Court, it won’t be the end of the world, as the lefties have already said. Not only will it not be the end of the world, but it won’t be the end of the Constitution or the Republic or the democracy. Those who insist that it will be any of this and do it with a straight face have really jumped off the deep end along with a whole host of the lefties.
That’s not to say that the righties are always right or right about everything or right even most of the time. But they’re not always wrong about everything or maybe even most things. The righties simply wear a different pair of shoes and have their own personal interests.
So the real issue is always what we really want for our country. Do we want a country that suppresses people’s rights in the name of advancing people’s rights? Do we want a country that does not ascribe to its own laws? Do we want a country whose government spends most of its time arguing back and forth on political terms rather than looking for the realities of what’s going on in this country and then looking for solutions to the problems at hand?
These are really hard questions too. They’re hardest because we all wear different shoes. However, no matter which shoes you do wear, we ought to be critical of and ashamed of the Congress we’ve elected. And we ought to check out our minds about how we elect our officials. And we surely ought to be asking ourselves if this is the best we can do.
