Fun with words and words for fun

IMAG0798We had our first freeze here in the Northeast two days ago. I was keeping the house a little cooler because oil prices are a dollar a gallon more already and will be even higher when it gets really cold. I have a kiddo and wife with some medical issues and the “cooler” is not really good for them. So I’ve raised the heat.

Now it’s a choice between buying certain foods or not because all the food is more expensive too and if you’re on a budget….

I know you all know this and I’m not alone in suffering through the outrageous idiocy our government has become.

Anyway, I could go on this way forever and will be saying more.

I’ve had some medical issues too, actually since the summer. They had gotten worse over the summer and in part that is why I’ve been away from here for awhile. It’s not the only reason. Part of me says that as moronic and anti-American as our leaders in control now are (they are not at all stupid, they just have a different agenda which they are being very successful with) half the country is actually either not interested or not using their mental faculties. Some of that half really believe in humanitarian stuffs, and are just looking at things without analyzing where we are being led overall. Others are just gaming the system and will bleed it dry and them complain about the teat not having any milk.

Those feelings have kind of coupled with the medical issues and kept me away. Sometimes I think: why bother?

That said, coming back, catching up with new Bill Wynn episodes and some new non-fiction. Am also going to post a new Kitchen Story in installments for blog size, this even before I publish the text of the original Kitchen Stories which will come out in book form. So…stay tuned.

I try to remember to think the best of everyone that deserves it. Our leaders, most of them, are not nice people and don’t deserve the benefit of the doubt. Most of them are selfish and greedy people masquerading as self-sacrificing crusaders. So as we move forward, try to keep a good thought for those people you can, and try to see our leaders for who and what they are.

American flag

First, I salute and celebrate our soldiers, all our people in our Armed Forces. I honor them all and especially honor those who so unselfishly gave their lives.

This is unequivocal.

I do not apologize for America.

I am not ashamed of my country or what it stands for.

Despite its shortcomings, I am proud of my country. I am proud of what it does for the world. No other country does what it does, is as generous as it is.

Period.

To those of you who have forgotten this, don’t believe it or would tear America down, America allows you to leave any time you want. Don’t let the door hit you where The Good Lord split you.

IMAG0798

Mostly I don’t talk about myself or my family, and I generally don’t express opinions except in the opinion pieces. That’s me. I’m not one to toot my horn or do things in a public fashion, which means to say if I have a comment for someone I generally put it out to them directly. More and more I use social media less and less. That’s because it is biased, dishonest and a real danger to our freedom.

But that’s for another time.

I mentioned once that my family had Covid. I also mentioned that I would, perhaps, talk about it more as time went on. And I will. But other things have been happening in my household too, mostly medical but some medical with our animals.

Oy vey.

I’m not going to go into detail.

Mostly what I want to say is thank you to all my friends and followers here for sticking with me. Entries have been down some, but views have remained constant and even increased. This is the only time I use social media anymore except to respond to family and for work. I would prefer it weren’t necessary for work.

One other thing to say. Well, maybe two. Despite it being a rough year, a very rough six weeks for my family  and a tough time altogether for many people, my family has been fortunate, lucky, maybe. I thank God for that. Yes. I do thank God for that. I pray to God and thank Him often. In these tough times He has restored my gratitude.

Finally, once again, Covid is not like they are portraying it in the media. Less than one per cent of people under fifty die from it. Virtually no children die from it or are even affected much by it. Only five per cent of people over seventy with comorbidity, even more than one comorbidity, die from it.

From my perspective, the worst parts of it were inability to reach my doctor, difficulty getting tested,  inaccuracy of testing and inability to get information that is meaningful.

The worst part of the whole ordeal is no one knows anything.  You can’t get answers to questions. No one can tell you if it will get worse, if one night you’ll wake up in the middle of the night and not be able to breathe, or worse, if someone in your household will wake up that way and have to be rushed to the hospital.

So overall, my perspective is that the Covid itself was not all that bad. Of course it affects each person differently, but the percentages for survival, even for not being very sick, are good. The media portrayal of it and the system itself need a lot of work.

As I write this, I have to say it is still a day at a time. One day I feel fine, the next day I could be wiped out tired or have other maladies. But progressively, my whole family is getting better.  Or so it seems. Thank God.

Thanks for sticking with me and I’m hoping to get more consistent again in adding entries.

IMAG0798

I wanted to thank everyone for the views. I know the posts have been somewhat scarce this month, but there’s a good reason.

My entire household has had COVID.

The good news is that we’ve only had minor symptoms, are now pretty much past it and toward the end of it, or at least so it seems. One of the difficulties is one never knows for sure.

I’ll have more to say about this another time.

For now, just a quick thank you. The viewership has been great and it’s heartwarming.

So to all of you, take care and stay safe. Be smart. Stay vigilant in fighting this virus.

According to the DNC some startling new evidence has surfaced that incontrovertibly determines President Donald J Trump is personally responsible for the extinction of dinosaurs some 65 million years ago. Independent fact checkers for CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, MSNBC and NPR have confirmed the veracity of this new evidence.

The President was unavailable for comment.

Unfortunately for the President this was not all that was unearthed. Unbiased, independent research conducted by the DNC has also uncovered that the President is personally responsible for climate change. The DNC reported that their people have fact checked this information to confirm it. Air pollution and fossil fuel emissions that have caused the breach in the ozone layer and now threaten to destroy the earth’s atmosphere are all attributed to Donald J Trump. As they report, Trump is undoubtedly personally responsible.

Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler held a meeting in their secret bunker then announced that should Trump be re-elected, their first order of business would be to impeach him. They did not rule out multiple impeachments should their first one in the new term fail to remove Trump from office.

Bernie Sanders and the Ocasio-Cortez squad said they would support Pelosi in impeachment efforts and make sure the tax-payers funded it.

Joe Biden refused to comment until he could determine how this affected the polls, but Kamala Harris said should they win and she become the defacto president, she would prosecute Trump on multiple counts of dinosaur murder.

quill-pen-300x300So a few things have come up which have kept me away from here for a bit.

Bill Wynn will return tomorrow.

Fun with words and words for fun.  More CPS articles and more rants to follow too.

quill-pen-300x300One has to wonder. One has to take a good look, really take a step back, take a deep breath and take a good look at America and what’s going on in America. We have to take a look at what America is and what America is going to be.

That, in a nutshell, is the responsibility of every American, especially the voting Americans. But more important, it is the responsibility of our leaders, new and old, left and right.

When it comes to voting, each American citizen who votes should vote according to their beliefs and their personal interests, whatever they are. This is the essence of being an American, of being in America. No one should stop or discourage anyone from doing so, no matter what their personal beliefs and best interests are.

When it comes to voting, anyone who is legally eligible to vote should vote. Anyone in this category who doesn’t vote, shame on them except if there is reason or cause for their not voting. Similarly, anyone who votes illegally, for whatever reason, shame on you for defrauding the American people, the American government and the American taxpayers.

When you look at it honestly, there’s lots of shame to go around. The trouble is that most of us who should feel shame and be ashamed of what they do don’t and they don’t think twice about their actions in any other contexts other than their personal self-interests and misguided senses of self-importance.

Man is by nature selfish and greedy and lives according to the theory of evolution, or the survival of the fittest. Since great wealth is the new “fittest,” maybe this is why all the greed and selfishness. Maybe it’s just our inherent nature.

We’re living in an illusion in America now. What you’re seeing and hearing day in and day out is not what is happening in America. WYSIWYG not. It is a scripted text that the Despicable Democrats, aided and abetted by much of the mainstream media/social media Consortium, Pravda USA, a big part of it owned by individual Trump-hating billionaires, would have you believe.

This is what needs to be looked at.

One more time, this is what needs to be looked at, for it is the greatest internal danger to America.

Since all the Democratic candidates are millionaires except for Julian Castro, Tulsi Gabbard, Tim Ryan and Pete Buttigieg, or since any one of the ones who have any chance of actually becoming the nominee are millionaires (actually multi-millionaires) why are they so eager to bash, even destroy, the very system that has provided the means for them to be so wealthy?

The answer is simple and obvious. They see the structure of all the socialist countries and know that due to their wealth and economic status they will automatically be catapulted into and belong to the wealthy class. So they, in effect, know how they will fare in the socialist system they are pushing. Their lives will not change much. In fact, they’ll be bettered.

Same for their uber-rich Hollywood shills.

They see all this, the Despicable Democrat candidates do, and they know what will happen. They know they will be safe and on top.

They see what will happen to the rest of us too. There’s plenty of examples. So why are they pushing socialism and class warfare?

Simply put, why are they spinning a yarn and promising things that are not at all as  portrayed?

Why are they pushing things that are clearly unsustainable and which will destroy the very core of America, if not America itself?

It’s all very simple.

They know where they will end up and they want to stay there because they’re there now. They also know where we will end up, and they are happy with this.

And so they persist.
